The Story: The legendary Lincoln Imp caused mischief in the city’s iconic cathedral many centuries ago, finding itself tuned to stone as a punishment for his actions. Lincoln City Football Club, nicknamed the Imps, have long been associated with the creature and have had a number of legendary performances of their own since 1884.
