Ferry Ales Brewery have supported the restoration of the Avro Lancaster Just Jane at the Aviation Heritage Centre near East Kirkby, Lincolnshire since 2017.
A donation is made from each of the bottles/pints that are sold of the beer. In 2022 we saw record sales of Just Jane Bitter with an increase of 7% on 2021.
This means that we have donated another £1,395 in 2022 taking the total donations since 2017 to over £7,500.
We realise that this is a small part of the total needed to get this historic aircraft flying again but we are glad to play our part in helping even if it is just to buy a lot of rivets!
The centrepiece of Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Museum is Avro Lancaster NX611 ‘Just Jane’. NX611 is one of only three working Lancasters worldwide. It is currently in taxying condition but is being restored to airworthy condition.
