As a local business we realise the importance of being part of the community and supporting charities and good causes where we can.
As many of our regular customers will know we love the aviation history that surrounds Lincolnshire and our aviation range of beers is dedicated to that heritage.
One of our core beers is Just Jane our session bitter which is named after the Avro Lancaster based at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre in East Kirkby. We continue to support the rebuild through a donation from each bottle and pint. In 2022 Just Jane was one of the two biggest selling beers that we produced, the other one being our Mosquito pale ale which is fitting given there is also a Mosquito at East Kirkby.
With the donation to be made from last years sales the total donated since we started in 2017 is over £6000.
The other charity that we support directly from the sale of a particular beer is charitable arm of The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society. In 2019 we created Harvest Gold to celebrate the society’s 150th anniversary. The ale proved so popular that we continue to produce it and total donations since 2019 are over £1,200. The charitable work of the society supports agricultural education and countryside learning in a variety of ways.
In addition to these charities we get a significant number of requests every year from charities and good causes within Lincolnshire. These requests range from a raffle prize to sponsorship. We are a small business but we aim to help and support as many of these good causes as we can even if it is simply by providing a raffle prize.
