Here at FAB HQ we are extremely proud of Lincolnshire’s aviation heritage, so much so we brewed a whole range of Aviation themed beers. The fore runner of this range is Just Jane our Session Bitter named after the Avro Lancaster based at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre in East Kirkby. As soon as Just Jane was produced it seemed like a fitting tribute to donate a proportion of sales to the restoration project of this fantastic aircraft.
2019 was the third year that we have donated to the project and we are thrilled to announce that we will continue to donate in 2020.
Over the last 3 years FAB has donated over £4000 to the restoration project made possible by all the people who have bought Just jane. FAB is proud to support this project.
FAB has also been busy presenting The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society with a donation to support their charitable projects within Lincolnshire.
As the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society’s reached its 150th anniversary in 2019, we teamed up with them to produce a special ale called Harvest Gold to mark the occasion.
After a year of sales, the ale has become our third top selling product. A staggering 8,000 litres have been sold throughout the year, a portion of the profits from each pint sold is donated to the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, and hundreds of pounds have been raised in the past year to help them to continue with their charitable work.
In addition to the charities FAB already contributes to we have set up the 20 cases, 20 charities for 2020 scheme to run throughout this year.
FAB will donate 20 cases of 12 bottles of our award-winning beer to 20 charities throughout this year, charities can use the cases however they wish for example; as prizes, to raffle, to sell or even to share. Applications have been invited via our social media streams for Lincolnshire Charities to tell us what they would like to use the donation for, we will shortly be announcing which Lincolnshire charities will benefit from the 2020 scheme.
